Individual Counseling and Therapy

Individual therapy involves one-on-one sessions with therapist and client. Individual therapy may help address a range of issues, including anxiety, co-regulation, depression, developmental guidance, interpersonal effectiveness, integrative trauma treatment, life transitions, loss and grief, pre and postnatal care, separation and divorce.

 

Colleen Mens MSW, LICSW is a Minnesota Department of Human Services Child-Parent Psychotherapy rostered provider.

​Groups and Consultation

Willow Tree Counseling enjoys offering bibliotherapy as a group therapeutic approach. Utilizing books to support good mental health is a versatile and cost-effective treatment option often adapted or used to supplement other types of therapy.  


Reflective Consultation is available for Mental Health Professionals looking to discover self-of-the therapist. Reflective Consultation provides space for clinicians to be curious about their own emotional content and how emotional reactions affect their work.  Willow Tree Counseling has a special interest in supporting clinicians who are also parents.
